A year-round school for figure skating

Young skaters from around the world train in Champéry with Stéphane Lambiel and his team, in a school recognised since 2019 as a Center of Excellence by the International Skating Union.

What we do

A full-time training centre for competitive skaters

Our coaches work as a team, and every coach works with every skater — at the rink and at competitions. The week has a set schedule of on-ice and off-ice training, adapted through the season around each skater's own competitive calendar.

Year-round training

Groups from pre-national level up to skaters competing internationally, training during the season Tuesdays through Sundays.

Camps

Intensive camps through the summer and during the season, open to visiting skaters. We also run bespoke camps for visiting teams, built around a dedicated programme.

Choreography

Programme creation and performance work with Stéphane Lambiel and our choreography team.

Beginners and adults

Weekly classes for children from ages 4 to 8, on and off the ice, Tuesdays and Thursdays from October to April. We also teach adults.

Recognition

Recognised by the bodies that set the standards

Each designation sets standards for coaching, safety, and athlete development. We are assessed against them, and they are renewed periodically.

International Skating Union

ISU Center of Excellence

Recognised by the ISU as a training centre meeting its standards for facilities, coaching, and athlete development. We host and contribute to ISU development projects, including the CoE Joint Camps and the Step of the Month series.

Swiss Ice Skating

Centre de performance pour la promotion de la relève

Recognised by Swiss Ice Skating, together with Swiss Olympic, as a performance structure for developing talent in figure skating and ice dance. Financial support is available to holders of Regional or National Swiss Olympic Talent Cards.

Federal Office for Sport

Jeunesse+Sport

A registered organiser of J+S courses, Switzerland's national youth sports programme, meeting its educational and safety standards. Our J+S-certified coaches follow its continuing education, and we fund the J+S training of older students who want to coach.

Where we are

A quiet place in the mountains, with everything in one building

The Palladium is a national centre for ice sports. An Olympic-size rink open year-round, halls for off-ice conditioning and dance, a fitness centre, pools, and a hotel all sit under one roof. The village around it is quiet and small enough to walk.

Find us on Google Maps Palladium de Champéry

Champéry is a village of wooden chalets at 1,050 m, at the head of the Val d'Illiez, facing the seven summits of the Dents du Midi — you can see them right from the ice. Skaters and their families live within walking distance of each other and the centre. Geneva Airport is around 1 h 30 away by car, or 2 h 45 by train.
